Nezasa launches Tai Guard, an AI agent for managing trip risk, powered by OAG flight data

A trip that is profitable at sale is not always profitable at travel. Tai Guard, the flagship agent in Tai Workbench by Nezasa, checks each itinerary for flight, destination and connection risk while tour and package operators can still change it.

Tai Guard by Nezasa powered by OAG data

Zurich, 27 October 2026 – Nezasa today launches Tai Guard, the flagship agent in Tai Workbench by Nezasa, an AI-native agent platform for travel sellers powered by OAG flight data. Tai Guard checks every itinerary for flight, destination and connection risk while travel sellers can still change it.

Anyone who has run operations for a package business knows the shape of it. A confirmed booking, three weeks out: a flight, a private transfer, then the last boat to the island, but the flight has a history of arriving late. Each supplier is fine on its own; it is the chain between them that breaks. Everything needed to see it coming exists before departure, yet the operations team usually finds out the way the traveller does: at the gate, on the phone, after the margin has gone.

Tai Guard reads that itinerary the way an experienced operations manager would but does it for every booking, not just the ones a team has time to check: how each flight has actually performed, whether any country on the route carries an active travel alert, whether the connections hold and the trip makes sense in sequence. Then it weighs which of those exposures matter for each trip. What it checks, and how strict it is, is each operator’s call: a specialist in long-haul connections and a seller of short city breaks do not run the same guard.

Because Tai Guard runs inside Tai Workbench, it is designed to advise and to act. Each finding can be passed to a person or to another agent in Tai Workbench: a flight flagged on a confirmed departure can trigger an AI agent that finds every other booking on that same flight, and the operator decides which steps need a person to say yes before anything changes. For the operator, that means fewer problems discovered by the traveller, less time spent chasing them and margin kept rather than refunded.

Tai Guard is fully integrated with Nezasa TripBuilder, but can just as easily connect to other booking systems through the Tai Workbench connector framework. Operators run it on the itineraries they already sell, whichever platform they sell them from.

For flights, Tai Guard draws on OAG’s independent data, both historically and for real-time information. OAG’s data is what airlines, airports and distribution systems already plan against; and Tai Guard brings that same foundation to every itinerary it monitors.

“Everyone in travel is building AI for the moment of inspiration. We built Tai Guard for the moment things go wrong, which is where package operators lose margin and travellers lose patience,” says Manuel Hilty, CEO of Nezasa. “And as flights are a vital piece of most itineraries, Tai Guard has been built to run on OAG data.”

“When disruption occurs and plans change in travel, the quality of the underlying data is critical for making timely decisions on what next,” says Gemma Timmons, OAG Director of Operations and Chief of Staff. “OAG’s independent flight data is a foundation that airlines, airports and travel technology companies already build on. We’re pleased to see Nezasa leverage our data to help tour and package operators spot these risks to reduce the impact of disruption on travellers.”

Tai Guard is available in Tai Workbench by Nezasa.
